Shout the tidings of salvation
To the aged and the young,
Till the precious invitation
Waken ev’ry heart and tongue.
Send the sound the earth around.
Send the sound the earth around.
Shout the tidings of salvation
O’er the prairies of the West,
Till each gath’ring congregation
With the gospel sound is blest.

Shout the tidings of salvation
O’er the islands of the sea,
Till, in humble adoration,
All to Christ shall bow the knee.

Shout the tidings of salvation
Till the world shall hear the call,
And, with joyous acclamation,
Crown the Savior Lord of all.
